Open Dance Project will host their Summer Intensive for the pre-professional level! This full day of training for the serious student will include classes in Ballet, Pointe, Boys Technique, Modern, Contemporary, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theater Jazz, Tap, and Character as well as repertory and compositional work. Students will pay special attention to developing their technique and artistry as they learn from Hunter Dance Center’s resident professional dance company, Open Dance Project. All ODP 2 members are strongly encouraged to participate in this summer intensive. (Note: An audition for ODP2’s 2022-2023 Season will be held Saturday August 13th from 3-5:30pm)
August 1-12, 2022 Monday- Friday 9:00am- 3:00pm Ages 12- 18 (as of 9/1/2022) $650/student
Dress Code: GIRLS: Solid color leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes and black jazz shoes, lace up tap shoes highly recommended, but not required. BOYS: Solid color t-shirt and black jazz/athletic/dance pants OR black tights. Black ballet shoes and black jazz shoes, lace up tap shoes highly recommended, but not required.
